RBI Reference rates

Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for the U.S. dollar at 51.5035 and the euro at 67.5415, as against 51.6265 per dollar and 67.6546 per euro yesterday.
In a press release issued by the RBI, the exchange rates for the pound and yen against the rupee were quoted at 81.9884 per pound and 63.31 per 100 yen, based on reference rates for the U.S. dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The reference rate is based on the noon rates of select banks here and the SDR-Rupee rate would be based on this rate, the release added.
