Aishwarya, Sonam Kapoor to walk Cannes red carpet

New Delhi: The last time Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor were to walk the Cannes red carpet together it had resulted in a much publicised ‘catfight’. But the two have kiss and made up and will be seen on the French Riviera this year along with another Indian beauty, Freida Pinto.

Aishwarya who will complete a decade of representing cosmetics giant L’Oreal at the prestigious film festival this year, said that she was “happy” to have such beautiful company.

“Several countries have always had more than one spokeswoman at Cannes and I’m glad India is finally getting the same recognition. I am happy that with Sonam and Freida, both beautiful women, being invited to the festival this year, India will have a stronger presence,” said the 37-year-old actress in a statement.
