Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini reunite in ‘Aarakshan’

Mumbai: Veteran actress Hema Malini will reunite with megastar Amitabh Bachchan on-screen after four years with a cameo in Prakash Jha’s ‘Aarakshan’.

The ‘dream girl’ will be seen with Bachchan after ‘Babul’ (2006). Prior to that they both had starred as an elderly couple in Yash Chopra’s Veer-Zaara (2004) and Ravi Chopra’s ’Baghban’ (2003).

“Hema ji joins us tomorrow for the shooting of ’Aarakshan’…a cameo but all looking forward to her arrival…’Baghbaan’ remembered,” Bachchan wrote on the micro-blogging website Twitter.

‘Aarakshan’, which explores the issue of caste-based reservations, also stars Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles, besides, Tanvi Azmi, Prateik Babbar and Manoj Bajpayee. The film is expected to release in August this year.
