Sachan case: Jailor appears before CJM
Lucknow: Bhimsen Mukund, jailor of the Lucknow Jail where deputy CMO Y S Sachan was found dead under mysterious circumstances, today appeared before Chief Judicial Magistrate Rajesh Upadhaya, who is probing the case.
Mukund appeared before the CJM and recorded his statement relating to the death of Sachan, whose body with injury marks was found in the toilet of the jail on June 22.
The CJM asked another jailor J P Srivastava and jail doctor R C Jauhri to appear before him tomorrow. The copy of Sachan’s postmortem report and the CD, could not, however, be produced before the CJM as directed by him earlier.
In the autopsy, nine injury marks were detected on his neck, elbows, thigh and left wrist.
52-year-old Sachan was the main accused in the murder of Chief Medical Officer (Family Welfare) B P Singh, who was shot dead by unidentified persons on April 2.
The opposition has alleged that Sachan, the main accused in Singh murder case, was “murdered” to save two former ministers of the Mayawati government and those involved in the killing of two Chief Medical Officers.
