Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom become proud parents of baby boy

London: Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom and his supermodel wife Miranda Kerr have become proud parents of a baby boy.

The Australian beauty, who went into labour on Thursday morning, gave birth to a son, reported Daily Mail. It looks like the A-list couple couldn’t be happier, after a paparazzo allegedly overheard Bloom excitedly talking about ‘his son’.

It’s the first child for the couple, who married in July and announced their pregnancy in August. The baby arrived a few weeks early following a false alarm on Boxing Day. A family member spoke to an Australian newspaper to confirm the 27-year-old model had gone into labour, “We did get a text on Boxing Day saying she had gone into labour but it was false alarm but I can confirm she did go into labour early this morning.”

Before the birth, the Victoria’s Secret model said she planned to juggle motherhood with her modelling career.

“I’ve always been open about wanting to be a mother one day, and I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad… I think having children and pregnancy is a part of life, I look at how models like Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have done it and made it a part of their lives.”
