Sanjeev Kapoor to launch 24 hr food lifestyle channel
Mumbai: Celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is all set to launch India’s first 24-hour food lifestyle channel in association with Malaysia-based company Astro.
Called ‘FoodFood’, the channel will be launched in early 2011. The brand will be available across platforms with content produced in and for Indians globally, Sanjeev said here today.
The content will be produced and packaged in India, making the shows relevant to the Indian audience.
The channel in order to connect to their audience in India, will feature shows about food and food lifestyle like ‘Sanjeev Kapoor’s Kitchen’, ‘Firangi Tadka’, ‘Sirf 30 Minute’ and ‘Ready Steady Cook’, he said.
Well-known chefs will also feature on the channel.
‘FoodFood’ will also feature in the online space and will be available at the touch of a button on mobile and web, Sanjeev said.

I live at B7 Onkar Apts,Amboli, Andheri west , Mumbai – 58. I do not get this channel, i have spoken to my cable operator but shows no interest to provide the channel to us. I work with Indian Express newspapers. Request you to kindly help me get this channel
I liked this channel very much especially Sanjeev Kapoor’s Show and Turban Tadka… all the chief’s are fantastic and recipes are obviously yammy. I even like Mummies Kitchen and Firangi Tadka. I tried many of the recipes … and want to see more and more exciting recipes with particular themes as we know there is time of monsoon season some different styles of bhajias and also give us some healthy tips and some cookery tips.
