Rannvijay Singha has been involved with the TV reality show Roadies for 18 years, whether as a competitor, host, or coach. The long relationship, however, is coming to an end.
He will not appear in the forthcoming season of the adventure-based reality programme.
Sources have revealed that a new production firm is holding the reigns of the forthcoming season. Rumours were that Singha was dissatisfied with the production house. Therefore, they had no choice except to split ways.
However, Singha clarified that there were no concerns with the production firm.
SINGHA SAYS, “THE CHANNEL HAS BEEN AN IMPORTANT PART OF MY PATH, AND I’LL BE WORKING WITH THEM ON SOME EXCITING PROJECTS.”
In addition, actor Sonu Sood will be filling Singha’s shoes. He will be the lone mentor-host and the face of the edition this year, which is unusual. The makers have dropped the concept of gang leaders, resulting in Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, and others to bid adieu to the show as well.
The next season will be shot in South Africa and will begin production on February 14.
