India to bat against SA in 1st Test, Zaheer misses out
Centurion: South African captain Graeme Smith won the toss and elected to field in the first cricket Test against India here today.
Overnight rain delayed the start of first day’s play by over four hours and the umpires gave the go ahead after two inspections.
India decided not to field injured Zaheer Khan and gave the first Test cap to paceman Jaidev Unadkat.
