“Had marks been the sole factor, the entire nation wouldn’t be rallying behind him now. Passion and dedication are the key.

Social Media Applauds Kohli’s Journey

The viral post sparked fresh praise for Kohli’s journey from a Delhi schoolboy to one of the greatest cricketers in history.

  • “Kohli has a valid marksheet + dedication = Success. Became Pride of our Nation,” one user wrote.
  • “Success is beyond Science and Mathematics,” echoed another.
  • “Marks are merely numbers — true value lies in perseverance and hard work,” read a third.

Kohli’s Emotional Farewell to Test Cricket

Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket earlier this week via Instagram, closing a 14-year chapter of iconic moments, leadership, and unmatched consistency in the whites.

“It’s been 14 years since I first wore the baggy blue in Test cricket… I’ve given it everything I had, and it’s given me back so much more,” Kohli wrote.

Kohli will continue to play in ODIs, having already stepped away from T20 Internationals in 2024.
