India reported 34,113 fresh Covid cases in India today, 24% lower than yesterday. The positivity rate rose marginally to 3.19%, the Union Ministry reported on Monday.
India’s total active caseload now stands at 4,78,882. This is the first time in over a month that active cases have dropped below the 5 lakh mark.
The recovery rate is currently 97.68 per cent. There were 91,930 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
Over 10.60 Lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours and India has administered 172.95 crore vaccine doses since the starting of the drive in iJanuary 2020.
