January 15, 2025: Megastar Rajinikanth is all set to return with the much-anticipated sequel Jailer 2. The announcement was made on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, with a special promo video featuring director Nelson Dilipkumar and music composer Anirudh Ravichander.
In the promo, Nelson and Anirudh are shown relaxing in a house in Goa when they are interrupted by goons. The goons are swiftly dispatched by knives and guns, and the scene culminates in Rajinikanth making a grand and captivating entry, heightening excitement for the sequel.
Nelson expressed his excitement for the film’s announcement on X, thanking Rajinikanth and others involved. The first part of Jailer, which released in 2023, was a major success, and fans are eagerly awaiting more details on Jailer 2.
