Gautam Adani Visits Maha Kumbh, Offers Prayers and Serves Devotees

“Adani Group Teams Up with ISKCON for Devotee Service at Maha Kumbh Mela”

January 21, 2025: Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani, along with his wife, Priti Adani, and son, Karan Adani, attended the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, offering prayers at the sacred Triveni Sangam and contributing to the religious gathering with selfless service initiatives.

Adani Family Participates in Maha Kumbh Rituals
Gautam Adani, accompanied by his wife, Priti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, and their son, Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, visited the Maha Kumbh Mela on Tuesday. The family offered prayers at the Triveni Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati converge.

Collaboration with ISKCON for Devotee Service
The Adani Group partnered with ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) to serve meals to devotees. Gautam Adani also participated in cooking Mahaprasad (sacred meals) at ISKCON’s camp. The partnership aims to provide Mahaprasad throughout the duration of the Mela, which ends on February 26.

Support for Sanatan Literature with Gita Press
The Adani Group collaborated with Gita Press to distribute one crore copies of the devotional book “Aarti Sangrah” to devotees for free. Announcing the initiative, Gautam Adani referred to the Maha Kumbh as “a great yagya of Indian culture and religious faith,” expressing gratitude for the century-long service of Gita Press.

Management Lessons from Maha Kumbh
In his remarks, Adani praised the seamless management of the grand event, commending the efforts of the Uttar Pradesh administration, police, and sanitation workers. “The way the system is maintained here is a lesson for management classes,” he said, adding, “Nothing is better than the blessings of Maa Ganga.”

Commitment to Selfless Service
Gautam Adani emphasized the importance of service, stating, “Seva is meditation, seva is prayer, and seva is God.” He expressed his dedication to supporting cultural and religious initiatives that strengthen India’s spiritual heritage.
