Security Response
According to Sumit Shukla, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) in Noida, the emergency helpline received information about the emails early Wednesday. In response, police teams, including firefighters, bomb detection units, and a dog squad, conducted thorough checks at the premises of all four schools.
“After a detailed investigation, it was confirmed that the threats were baseless,” said ADCP Shukla.
School Operations
Classes resumed smoothly in Step by Step, The Heritage, and Gyanshree schools after the checks, but Mayoor School opted to halt operations temporarily for precautionary measures. School staff discovered the emails when they arrived on campus in the morning and reported them to authorities.

Cybercrime Investigation
The bomb threat emails have been forwarded to the cybercrime branch for further investigation. While no case has been registered yet, officials are tracing the origin of the messages to identify those responsible.
Similar Incidents
This is not the first time schools in the area have been targeted with false alarms. On December 20 last year, a private school in Sector 126, Noida, received a similar bomb threat email. Just three days earlier, another school in Greater Noida was targeted with a hoax email.
Authorities have urged calm while emphasizing their commitment to identifying the source of these threats to ensure public safety.
