The Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack will host the Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 on Wednesday. Rajasthan Warriors and Mumbai Khiladis will be looking to win their first games. Telugu Yoddhas will play Rajasthan Warriors, and the reigning champion Odisha Juggernauts will play Mumbai Khiladis. In terms of television viewership, Ultimate Kho Kho emerged as India’s third-largest non-cricket league after becoming an enormous hit in its inaugural season. The Rajasthan Warriors lost their opening two games to the Gujarat Giants and the Odisha Juggernauts. Majahar Jamadar, the captain of Rajasthan, declared that the forthcoming game will be centred on defence.
In the league’s second season, Rajasthan has a very strong team. Although our defence hasn’t performed well in the first two games, we will undoubtedly improve in the upcoming match. With each game that goes by, we will become more self-assured, which will enable us to accomplish greater things in the league,” Majahar stated. However, Mumbai Khiladis lost to Telugu Yoddhas by a narrow margin, and their player Gajanan Shengal also emphasised improving defensively.
We will employ distinct tactics for Telugu Yoddhas players because we are aware of their mat play. We will work on this aspect of our game against Gujarat and try to put on a better performance because our defence let us down a little in the previous game,” Shengal said. Beginning at 7:30 PM IST, Sony Sports Network channels will feature the thrilling action of Season 2.
