The ‘Knives Out’ franchise kicked off in 2019 with Benoit Blanc investigating the mysterious death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey, a film that became a box office sensation. Its sequel, ‘Glass Onion,’ saw Blanc unraveling a murder mystery game on a tech billionaire’s private island. While plot details for the third film remain under wraps, Johnson has teased it will be the “most dangerous case yet” for Blanc, reported Variety.

Daryl McCormack has been making waves in the industry, particularly with his standout performance in the comedic drama ‘Good Luck to You, Leo Grande,’ opposite Emma Thompson. His other notable works include roles in Sharon Horgan’s Apple TV+ series ‘Bad Sisters’ and the hit show ‘Peaky Blinders.’ Before stepping into the world of Benoit Blanc, McCormack will appear in Universal’s disaster epic ‘Twisters,’ set for a July release.

As production for the third installment gears up, fans eagerly await more updates on ‘Wake Up Dead Man.’ With a blend of seasoned actors and fresh talent like McCormack, the third ‘Knives Out’ promises to be a gripping addition to the franchise, filled with the unexpected twists and sharp wit that have defined Johnson’s murder mysteries.
