Kanye West Faces Legal Battle as Former Assistant Files Lawsuit

Rapper Kanye West, known as ‘Ye’, is embroiled in legal turmoil as his ex-assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, has filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination.

Initially hired in 2021 with a million-dollar salary, Pisciotta alleges West approved of her income from OnlyFans and social media. However, the situation changed when West allegedly demanded her to delete her account and began sexually harassing her.

The lawsuit, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, also includes allegations of fraud, unpaid wages, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Shocking excerpts from the lawsuit revealed disturbing text messages from West to Pisciotta, indicating his inappropriate behavior and demands.

Despite Pisciotta’s promotion to chief of staff in West’s companies, she was later terminated, shedding light on their tumultuous working relationship.

This legal action follows Yeezy’s chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulus, quitting the company after West announced plans to enter the pornography industry.

In response, West’s legal team released a statement denying the allegations and announcing their intent to file a countersuit against Pisciotta. They portrayed Pisciotta as engaging in inappropriate conduct and making unreasonable demands during her employment.

The legal battle has intensified, with West’s camp accusing Pisciotta of theft, attempted destruction of evidence, and engaging in alleged sexual coercion and blackmail. They also highlighted Pisciotta’s purported financial demands, which they claim are inconsistent with her allegations of harassment and a hostile work environment.
