Raghav Juyal, set to star in the upcoming series Gyaarah Gyaarah, has opened up about the complexities of his role. The series, featuring Kritika Kamra and Raghav Juyal, will premiere on August 9.
In an interview with ANI, Raghav shared the difficulties he faced portraying his character, Yug Arya. He explained, “The role was very challenging for me because I had to delve into his past and his traumas. Yug is an uneasy person because of this, and it required a lot of emotional depth.”
Dhairya Karwa, who plays senior detective Shaurya Anthwal, also expressed his gratitude for the role. “Working with such talented people and having great producers behind the show is a dream come true,” he said. Dhairya emphasized the pride and transformation he felt wearing the police uniform, adding, “It makes you behave differently and feel a sense of honor.”
Kritika Kamra, portraying a senior cop, admitted the role’s challenges. “Shooting in a non-linear way made it difficult to stay consistent with the character,” she noted. Kritika also pointed out the importance of not viewing her role in a negative light to truly bring her character to life.
Directed by Umesh Bist, Gyaarah Gyaarah features a compelling cast including Kritika Kamra, Dhairya Karwa, and Raghav Juyal, alongside Gautami Kapoor, Harsh Chhaya, Purnendu Bhattacharya, Mukti Mohan, and Gaurav Sharma.
The recently released trailer adds intrigue with its exploration of time travel. The story revolves around a mysterious walkie-talkie that enables communication between police officer Yug Arya in the present and senior detective Shaurya Attwal from 1990. The series delves into how this temporal connection affects both eras and the ongoing investigation into a decade-old case.
Backed by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor, Gyaarah Gyaarah promises to captivate audiences with its unique narrative. The series will be available on Zee5 starting August 9.
