Tel Aviv [Israel], November 23 – The Israeli Air Force conducted a targeted operation overnight between Wednesday and Thursday in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, neutralizing several Hamas terrorists involved in the October 7 massacre.
According to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the strike eliminated two prominent Hamas commanders:
- Jihad Mahmoud Yahya Kahlout: A company commander in Hamas’s Nukhba force, responsible for planning and executing attacks during the October 7 massacre.
- Muhammad Riyad Ali Uqal: Another Hamas company commander, who played a pivotal role in the massacre and the abductions of Israeli civilians at the Mefalsim junction near Sderot.
Both individuals were instrumental in orchestrating the brutal assault on Israeli civilians and have been identified as key figures in Hamas’s ongoing military operations in northern Gaza, the IDF stated.
This precision strike forms part of Israel’s broader campaign to dismantle Hamas’s leadership and operational capacity following the atrocities committed on October 7.
