The psychological drama, based on the life of legendary opera singer Maria Callas, has generated significant positive response, with critics buzzing about Jolie’s performance, reported Deadline.
“I’ve got better work as I’ve got older,” Jolie shared, emphasizing that her evolving life experiences bring depth to her roles. She added, “I don’t think about it in terms of roles offered, but in terms of the life experience you contribute.”
Jolie acknowledged that aging is “easier for actors than singers or dancers because your body doesn’t change as drastically,” and expressed admiration for Callas’ dedication to her craft despite fears of growing older.
