December 3, 2024: Actor Naveen Kasturia, widely recognized for his role in TVF’s Aspirants, has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Shubhanjali Sharma.
The actor shared the joyous news on Instagram on Tuesday, posting a series of pictures from their wedding day, along with the caption, “Chat mangni pat byaah!” (A quick engagement, a swift wedding!).
As soon as the post was shared, Naveen’s fans, colleagues, and industry friends flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana sent his best wishes with a heart emoji, while Harleen Sethi commented, “Kya baat dost!! Mubarak ho!” (Amazing, my friend! Congratulations!). Nakuul Mehta also chimed in with a poetic and heartfelt message, writing, “Zindagi bhar ki khushiyaan Ab to waqt se uth jaana” (A lifetime of happiness, now, take it from time).
One of the most touching images from the wedding showed Naveen applying sindoor (vermilion) to Shubhanjali’s forehead, marking a beautiful moment in their wedding ceremony.
For the wedding day, Naveen looked dashing in an ivory sherwani adorned with sequin and ruby red motif detailing, paired with a matching dupatta. Shubhanjali, on the other hand, stunned in a rust-hued lehenga with shimmering gold embroidery, complementing Naveen’s look perfectly.
The wedding took place in the beautiful city of Jaipur, set against a scenic backdrop, and was attended by the couple’s close friends and family members. Actors Amol Parashar, Namita Dubey, and Sunny Hinduja were also present at the ceremony.
Amol Parashar, a close friend of Naveen and a co-actor from Aspirants, shared a sneak peek into the festivities and posted a heartfelt message for the newlyweds. He wrote, “Congratulations @naveenkasturia @shubhanjalisharma. What a warm and fun beginning to a beautiful journey! Love and hugs.”
Naveen Kasturia became a household name with his role as Naveen in the popular show Aspirants, which follows the story of four friends navigating their way through life while pursuing a start-up. Recently, Naveen was also seen in the web series Mithya The Darker Chapter.
