Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Alleged Drug Mule Brendan Paul’s Charges Dismissed

December 18, 2024: Brendan Paul, the basketball player previously accused of being Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged drug courier, has had all charges against him dropped. This comes after Paul successfully completed a pretrial diversion program. His lawyer, Brian Bieber, confirmed the development to PEOPLE on December 17, stating that the case against Paul was “formally dismissed in its entirety.”

According to Bieber, Paul had been arrested in March on charges of possessing cocaine and marijuana. In May, Paul agreed to enter a diversion program, a legal alternative to prosecution, which allowed for the dismissal of his charges upon successful completion. Now that Paul has completed the program, the charges have been officially dropped.

The case surrounding Paul is part of a broader legal situation involving music mogul Diddy, who has been facing multiple serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. However, Diddy has strongly denied all accusations against him. In a statement shared in December last year, he vehemently refuted the allegations, claiming that individuals were attempting to “assassinate [his] character” and destroy his legacy for personal gain. Diddy said, “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.”

Diddy’s criminal trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025. As of now, while the legal proceedings involving Paul have been resolved, Diddy’s own legal battles are ongoing, with the music mogul continuing to maintain his innocence.
