December 24, 2024: Varun Dhawan recently visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain ahead of the much-anticipated release of his upcoming film “Baby John.”
On Monday, accompanied by director Atlee and the film’s cast, Varun participated in the Aarti ceremony at the temple, seeking divine blessings for the film’s success.
Speaking to the media after offering prayers, Varun shared his thoughts, saying, “It was a very good feeling offering prayers here at the temple. God is bigger than the film. I just prayed that people go and watch the movie.” His heartfelt words reflected his deep belief in the power of blessings and his hope that the film resonates with audiences.
The excitement around “Baby John” has been steadily growing. Earlier this month, the film’s trailer was unveiled in grand style, and it has already created a buzz among moviegoers. The three-minute trailer is packed with mass action, showing off Varun’s gripping performance in a thriller role. In the trailer, Varun is seen playing a multifaceted character – from a police officer to a doting father and a man who falls in love with Keerthy Suresh’s character, showcasing a wide range of emotions.
Veteran actor Jackie Shroff also plays a pivotal role as the menacing antagonist, and Wamiqa Gabbi joins the ensemble cast. However, it’s the surprise cameo by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan that has stirred up even more buzz. In the trailer, Salman makes a brief appearance, with his face covered in black cloth, and ends with him wishing everyone, “Merry Christmas” in advance – a teaser that promises more to come.
Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, and directed by Kalees, “Baby John” is set to be released on December 25, bringing festive excitement to movie lovers.
