“Mara nahi hu..” Akshay Kumar’s befitting reply on his back-to-back flops

Actor Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, ‘Khel Khel Mein’. During the trailer launch event, he candidly discussed his recent movies’ performances at the box office. Reflecting on the mixed success, he said, “Chaar picture chali paanch nahi chali..aese messages aaten hai ki..Sorry yaar, fikar mat karna. Sab thik ho jayega.’ Mara nahi hoon main.” (“Four movies did well, five did not…I get messages saying, ‘Sorry, don’t worry! Everything will be fine.’ I’m not dead.”)

Akshay mentioned that even some journalists have reassured him that he will bounce back, to which he responded, “Mai phone karke bola.. bhai ye to kyu likh raha hai.. back matlab gaya kaha hoon. Yahi hoon. Humesha kaam karunga……Log kuch bhi kahe. Jo bhi kamata hoon, apne dum pe kamata hoon.” (“I called and said, ‘Why are you writing this…where have I gone? I’m right here. I will always work, let people say whatever they want to. Whatever I earn, I earn on my own.”)

He emphasized his dedication to his work, stating, “I will keep working till they have to shoot me down.”

The trailer launch event was a star-studded affair attended by the film’s cast, including Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, Ammy Virk, and others. The trailer for ‘Khel Khel Mein’ promises a roller coaster ride of ‘Sach Ka Saamna’.

Akshay shared the trailer on Instagram, captioning the post, “Khel khel mein dosti aur pyaar ka rang chadega, masti aur mazaak, sab kuch milega! #KhelKhelMein trailer out now. Khel Khel Mein releasing in cinemas on 15th August 2024.”
