October 11, 2024: Alia Bhatt looked stunning as she offered prayers at the Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai, dressed in an ethereal red saree.
The actress was joined by her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, and they both participated in the rituals, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Alia also met Kajol and her sister Tanishaa Mukerji, who are known for regularly attending Durga Puja celebrations. The gathering of these Bollywood stars at the pandal was a heartwarming sight, blending tradition with star power.

On the work front, Alia’s film “Jigra” released today, marking another milestone in her career. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film stars Vedang Raina, best known for his role in “The Archies”. “Jigra” centers around a devoted sister, played by Alia, who embarks on a dangerous journey to save her brother. The film’s teaser features a recreated version of the classic song “Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka”, highlighting Vedang Raina’s singing abilities.
The film is produced by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Viacom18 Studios and Eternal Sunshine Productions. Bala, known for films like “Monica, O My Darling” and “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota”, co-wrote “Jigra” with Debashish Irengbam, making it one of the most anticipated films of the year.
