October 24, 2024: Allu Arjun has heightened fan excitement by announcing the new release date for his highly anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The actor shared an intense new poster on X (formerly Twitter), featuring himself in a dynamic pose, holding a gun and smoking a pipe, with the updated release date of December 5th, 2024.
Fans and industry members flooded the comments, with Samantha Ruth Prabhu commenting, “Explosion awaits,” and others expressing their excitement for the return of Pushpa Raj, Allu Arjun’s iconic character. The film, directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, will see Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprise their roles alongside Arjun as Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat.
Initially set for an August 2024 release, the film’s date was shifted to December 6, but now the team has preponed it by a day. The announcement follows delays due to the remaining shoot and post-production work. The makers explained their commitment to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience, building on the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise, which centered on power struggles involving red sandalwood smuggling.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the release, with high expectations given the success of the first part and Allu Arjun’s National Film Award-winning performance. Pushpa 2: The Rule promises to be one of the biggest Indian films of the year, as the teasers and songs have already garnered an overwhelmingly positive response across multiple languages.
