The Ambani family, led by Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, participated in a grand Ganpati Visarjan ceremony on Sunday night, marking the culmination of their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The festivities were a visual spectacle, as the family and their close friends bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with great enthusiasm.
Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, and their son Anant Ambani, along with his wife Radhika Merchant, took center stage in the procession. Anant and Radhika were seen joyfully dancing to the vibrant beats of the dhol, capturing the spirit of the occasion. Dressed in traditional attire, the family looked elegant—Nita Ambani, Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, wore a stunning pink saree, while Radhika donned a graceful blue kurta.
The Ambani family, accompanied by a beautifully decorated truck carrying Lord Ganesha, made their way from their residence, Antilia, to Chowpatty Beach for the immersion ceremony. Bollywood actors Meezaan Jafri and Shanaya Kapoor were also present, joining the Ambanis in the lively celebration.
The Ambanis had previously hosted a grand celebration at their Mumbai home, Antilia, marking the start of Ganesh Chaturthi. Nita Ambani looked regal in an embroidered sari, while Mukesh Ambani wore a traditional kurta-pyjama. The event was attended by numerous Bollywood celebrities and political figures, including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Rekha, Kiara Advani, and many more. Singer B Praak also performed at the event, adding a soulful touch to the festivities.
Ganesh Chaturthi, a widely celebrated 10-day festival in India, honors Lord Ganesha, the god of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings. The festival, which began on September 6 this year, will culminate with Anantha Chaturdashi, when idols of Lord Ganesha are immersed in water, signifying the deity’s return to Mount Kailash.
