Ananya Panday, star of the new cyber-thriller CTRL, recently opened up about two embarrassing incidents where she accidentally leaked personal contact information online. In an interview with Netflix India, Ananya revealed that she had unintentionally shared both her own and Suhana Khan’s phone numbers on social media.

Recalling the first incident, Ananya shared, “I once leaked Suhana’s number by mistake. I was FaceTiming her, and when she didn’t pick up, I took a screenshot and posted it on Instagram. Her number was visible, and later, Suhana called me saying her number got hacked. I was shocked, but then realized I was the one who caused it.”

The second mishap occurred during a press conference. “I was in the middle of an interview when reporters asked for my number. I gave it to them, but the interview was being recorded and uploaded to YouTube. My number was leaked, and I had to change it,” Ananya explained.

Ananya also touched on the risks of online privacy and how these incidents made her more cautious. Her candid admissions come at a time when she’s starring in CTRL, a film that explores the dark side of technology and artificial intelligence.
