Anupam Kher, immersed in his directorial project ‘Tanvi The Great,’ recently shared a touching video featuring a special guest on set—Vanshika, the daughter of his late friend and esteemed actor, Satish Kaushik. The video, which Kher posted on Instagram, captures a candid and heartwarming conversation between the two.

In the video, Kher and Vanshika discuss her recent school exam results, with Kher curiously asking about her scores and her plans for the upcoming holidays. Sharing this sweet moment, Kher wrote, “Random Chit Chat with Vanshika: it was nice to have #VanshikaKaushik visit our set of #TanviTheGreat. Felt good to talk to her about her exams, marks, holidays, tuitions, etc. Sometimes it is good to talk about these normal things, isn’t it?”

To mark Father’s Day, Vanshika also shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram stories, wishing Kher, “Happy Father’s Day Anupam uncle!” Kher, in turn, reshared her post with heart emojis, reflecting the bond they’ve formed since Satish Kaushik’s untimely passing.

Following Kaushik’s sudden demise due to a cardiac arrest on March 9 in New Delhi, Kher promised to be there for Vanshika. True to his word, he frequently posts videos and pictures of their time together, whether it’s taking her out for lunch or enjoying a dance. Kher was the first to break the news of Kaushik’s passing on social media, expressing his deep sorrow.

Satish Kaushik was a celebrated figure in Indian cinema, renowned for his versatile roles in films like ‘Mr. India,’ ‘Saajan Chale Sasural,’ and ‘Judaai.’ He was also an accomplished writer and director, with notable works such as ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ and ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain.’

Kher announced ‘Tanvi The Great’ on his birthday, March 7, with a heartfelt message on Instagram. He described the film as a story of “Passion, Courage, Innocence, and Joy” that he had been developing for three years. He shared that the project officially began on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri.

In addition to ‘Tanvi The Great,’ Kher’s upcoming projects include ‘The Signature,’ ‘Emergency,’ ‘Vijay 69,’ and ‘The Curse of Damyaan,’ showcasing his ongoing dedication to the film industry.

This touching interaction with Vanshika not only highlights Kher’s compassionate nature but also honors the memory of his dear friend Satish Kaushik, keeping his legacy alive through these meaningful connections.
