Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman has introduced the world to the soundtrack of his highly anticipated immersive film, Le Musk. The soundtrack, which comprises 12 unique tracks, reflects Rahman’s signature blend of jazz, orchestra, and eclectic elements fused with soulful melodies.
Le Musk is not just a traditional film; it’s an innovative sensory cinematic experience that merges music, fragrance, and visual storytelling. Directed by AR Rahman himself, the film is designed to immerse audiences in a new realm of cinematic expression. The project was showcased at Cannes XR, highlighting Rahman’s pioneering efforts in pushing the boundaries of film and music.
Speaking on the occasion of the soundtrack release, AR Rahman expressed, “Music is the heartbeat of Le Musk. The soundtrack, created to enhance the immersive experience of the film, features collaborations with notable artists such as Nora Arnezeder, Sana Moussa, Linda Lind, Mayssa Karaa, Hiral Viradia, Simona Gilbert, The Firdaus Orchestra, and the Budapest Orchestra. The project also saw collaboration with award-winning music engineer Greg Penny, further adding to its global appeal.
