Ashish Nehra says,”Rinku Singh has opened everyone’s eyes”

While there is no doubt that rising left-handed batter Rinku Singh has established himself as a contender for a spot in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 squad, former Indian pacer Ashish Nehra stated ahead of the fifth and final Twenty20 International between Australia and India that he will still face many challenges even though he has put everyone under pressure.
This Sunday is the fifth and final Twenty20 International between Australia and India. Lead by the top-ranked T20I batsman Suryakumar Yadav, India has won this series 3-1. The ‘finisher’ Rinku has been one of the biggest assets for India in the series.

Excerpts: “Rinku Singh is unquestionably a strong candidate to be named in India’s T20 World Cup team. Regarding the bowling aspect of things, Nehra stated that both sides’ bowlers have let up a lot of runs thus far in the series. India has benefited greatly from pacer Mukesh Kumar’s pinpoint yorkers in this scenario, particularly in the death overs.
