As the pacer struggles to regain form, Ashish Nehra, a former speedster for India, has backed Prasidh Krishna to find his groove. Prasidh, who is expected to be a future star for the Men in Blue, has been working very hard to find his rhythm again. While Krishna claimed four wickets in the current five-match Twenty20 Indian Premier League against Australia, he also gave up 159 runs in three of the matches. After giving up 68 runs in the third match, he became the first Indian player to give up the most runs in a single Twenty20 international match.
It’s a guy who hasn’t played much cricket, Nehra said on JioCinema, endorsing the pacer’s performance. However, speaking of someone like Prasidh Krishna, talent is in no short supply.

He is undoubtedly one of India’s rising stars, and let’s hope that he continues to improve from this point on. He’s got the ability to bowl a mean yorker. I understand that bowling on a flat pitch and wet ground can be challenging, but in these kinds of conditions, you absolutely back your yorker.”
Nehra continued by praising opener Ruturaj Gaikwad for his outstanding performance in the third Twenty20 international against Australia. In the long run, he believes Gaikwad could be considered a player who can open for the team.
“I believe India is carrying that out already. He is surrounded by people who are aware of his playing style. When discussing legendary player Yashasvi Jaiswal.

However, his style of play differs greatly from Gaikwad’s. It takes solidity to succeed in the T20 format, and Ruturaj Gaikwad provides it. He is a player in all three formats. He hits the cricket ball cleanly. Nehra remarked, “Ruturaj exhibits an incredible level of elegance.
India will play the fourth Twenty20 International (T20I) on Friday in Raipur and the final T20I on Sunday in Bengaluru. The series is currently 2-1.
