October 27, 2024: Pakistan has announced its 15-member squads for the upcoming white-ball series tours to Australia and Zimbabwe, starting from November 4. Star batter Babar Azam will be rested for the Zimbabwe tour, and the captain for the series has yet to be decided.
For the Australia tour, Pakistan will see the return of key players Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah, who were rested during the last two Tests against England. However, these players will not participate in the Zimbabwe tour. Mohammad Rizwan is available for both ODIs against Australia and the ODIs in Zimbabwe but will miss the T20Is.
The squads feature several debutants, including Kamran Ghulam, Omair Bin Yousuf, and Sufyan Moqim. Additionally, Aamir Jamal, Arafat Minhas, Faisal Akram, Haseebullah, Muhammad Irfan Khan, and Saim Ayub have joined the ODI squad for the first time.
