November 8, 2024: Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has achieved a milestone at the box office, surpassing the daily collections of Singham Again and crossing the ₹150 crore mark in its first week. The horror-comedy, which released around Diwali, has shown remarkable resilience throughout the weekdays, creating a strong trajectory for its long-term success, according to Sacnilk.
On its seventh day, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 collected ₹9.50 crore, with only an 11% dip from Wednesday’s numbers, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹158.25 crore. This makes it the fastest Kartik Aaryan film to hit the ₹150-crore milestone. With its current momentum, the film is expected to cross ₹200 crore in its second week.
The film has also performed well internationally, with overseas earnings projected to exceed $6 million (₹50 crore).
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again
The most striking aspect of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s box office journey has been its head-to-head competition with Singham Again, a film with a bigger cast, more screens, and higher expectations. On Thursday, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 finally overtook the Ajay Devgn-starrer with a collection of ₹9.50 crore, surpassing Singham Again’s ₹8.75 crore on the same day. Although Singham Again still leads in overall collections by approximately ₹15 crore, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s steady climb has turned the competition into one of the most engaging box office battles of the year.
