Ahmedabad (Gujarat), January 9: The Adani Group has partnered with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to launch the Mahaprasad Seva initiative at the Mahakumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj. The service will provide free meals to 50 lakh devotees throughout the event, from January 13 to February 26, 2025.

A Collaboration of Seva and Spirituality

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani met with Guru Prasad Swami, Chairman of ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission (GBC), to express gratitude for ISKCON’s partnership. Speaking about the initiative, Adani said:
“Kumbh is a sacred place of seva, where every devotee participates in service to God. With Maa Annapurna’s blessings, this Mahaprasad Seva will provide free food to lakhs of devotees. Seva is meditation, prayer, and devotion to God. It is my good fortune to collaborate with ISKCON for this noble cause.”

Adani highlighted ISKCON’s unparalleled expertise in organizing large-scale food distribution and emphasized the shared values between the two organizations in serving humanity.

Guru Prasad Swami praised the Adani Group for its corporate responsibility and commitment to social service:
“The Adani Group stands out for its humility and selflessness. Gautam Adaniji never waits to be called for service; he leads by example. This collaboration inspires us to give back to society and unite in the service of humanity.”
