Apple Unveils AppleCare One: One Plan to Protect All Your Devices
July 23, 2025: California Apple said today that it is greatly expanding its services by launching AppleCare One, a new subscription plan that will cover numerous Apple products with a single, easy-to-understand monthly payment. This decision shows that Apple is still pushing into services after the success of its Apple One subscription bundle and comes after another record-breaking quarter for services revenue.
Starting on July 24, 2025, anyone in the U.S. can sign up for AppleCare One for $19.99 a month. This plan covers up to three Apple devices. If you have more than three products, you can add more for $5.99 a month each.
AppleCare One wants to make it easier for homes with many devices and long-time Apple users to secure their devices. It offers the same wide range of advantages as individual AppleCare+ subscriptions. This includes:
Battery Coverage: Service for batteries that hold less than 80% of their original charge.
Unlimited Accidental Damage Repairs: Covers drops, spills, and other damage that happens by mistake, but you have to pay a service cost for each one.
24/7 Priority Support: Direct access to Apple experts via chat or phone at any time.
Apple-Certified Repairs: Making sure that you get great service with real Apple parts.
One of the best things about AppleCare One is that it works with older devices. AppleCare One lets consumers add products that are up to four years old to their plan. This is different from the usual 60-day timeframe to buy AppleCare+ after buying a product. Apple does say, though, that these older devices must be in “good condition,” and the corporation has the authority to undertake diagnostic tests to make sure they are eligible. A specific caveat applies to headphones, which can only be added to an AppleCare One plan if they are less than a year old.
AppleCare One also greatly improves coverage for theft and loss. This important protection was only available for iPhones with AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss, but now it will be included for all covered iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches with an AppleCare One subscription. This gives owners of these little, important devices more peace of mind.
Starting tomorrow, customers may quickly sign up for AppleCare One from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by going to an Apple Store. The new service could help those with more than one device save a lot of money. For example, they could save up to $11 a month compared to buying three separate AppleCare+ insurance for three items. The plan also makes it easier to keep track of coverage by automatically updating trade-ins and giving you the ability to add or delete devices as needed.
AppleCare One is Apple’s next strategic initiative to improve its services ecosystem. It will make things easier and more valuable for its loyal customers while also ensuring a steady supply of recurring revenue.
