ED Raids 8 FIITJEE-Linked Premises in Delhi-NCR Over Sudden Centre Closures

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday raided eight locations across Delhi-NCR in connection with a money laundering probe involving FIITJEE, one of India’s premier coaching institutes. The move follows an FIR filed by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police, based on complaints from parents of enrolled students.

The investigation stems from allegations that FIITJEE abruptly shut down several centres across India without issuing any prior notice or refunds, despite collecting advance fees for the full academic year.
“Parents were blindsided—no formal announcements, no alternative arrangements,” said an official involved in the probe.
The ED conducted searches at both corporate offices and residences of senior officials, including FIITJEE promoter DK Goel. Officials suspect diversion of funds collected from students toward personal assets and shell entities.
Angry protests had erupted outside the FIITJEE Sector 62 campus in Noida earlier this month, with dozens of parents demanding answers and refunds.
This is a developing story, and further updates are expected as investigators examine seized documents and digital records.
