
Gold and Silver Prices Drop in India: Check Rates in Delhi, Jaipur, and More
New Delhi, March 23, 2025:
Gold and silver prices in India witnessed a downward trend on Sunday. The price of 24-carat gold fell by ₹380, now priced at ₹9000.3 per gram, while 22-carat gold saw a sharper decline of ₹390 to trade at ₹8247.3 per gram.
Silver rates also dropped significantly by ₹1,900 per kg, bringing the national average to ₹104,100 per kg.

Gold and silver prices are shaped by global demand, currency fluctuations, inflation trends, and geopolitical developments. Domestic pricing is further influenced by local taxes, jeweller margins, and city-specific demand-supply metrics.
