Gold Prices Today in Major Indian Cities: June 29 Update Shows Steady Trends Amid Global Easing

Gold and silver prices in India showed steady performance on Saturday, June 29, across major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. The MCX gold rate opened at ₹95,524 per 10 grams, while silver prices held at ₹1,06,429 per kilogram, according to the Indian Bullion Association (IBA).
Despite easing geopolitical tensions following the Israel-Iran ceasefire, gold prices continue to hover near all-time highs, reflecting sustained investor interest in safe-haven assets. With the US tariff deadline of July 9 approaching, precious metals are expected to remain in focus.

Over the last 20 years, gold has risen by over 1,200%, climbing from ₹7,638 in 2005 to above ₹1,00,000 in June 2025. Silver, meanwhile, has shown a growth of nearly 669%, reinforcing its long-term value.
