Despite celebrations for Rath Yatra 2025 across India, trading on BSE, NSE, and MCX remains unaffected as June 27 is not marked as a stock market holiday.
Mumbai, June 27, 2025 — Indian stock market operations will continue as usual today, even as the country celebrates the grand annual Jagannath Rath Yatra. According to the official holiday calendars published by both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), June 27 is not a trading holiday.
Investors can expect regular trading across all major segments including the Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment, Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB) Segment, and the Currency Derivatives Segment. Additionally, platforms such as NDS-RST, Tri-Party Repo, and the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also operate on normal trading hours.

The widely celebrated Rath Yatra, also known as the Chariot Festival or Shree Gundicha Yatra, is being observed in Puri, Odisha today, but it does not affect market operations.
