Rumors are swirling around Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s highly anticipated Italian wedding — particularly about the entertainment. A recent report claimed that the power couple booked Lady Gaga and Elton John to perform at their lavish ceremony in Venice this June. But insiders are singing a different tune.
According to the Daily Mail, Sánchez was eager to secure world-class talent for the three-day celebration and allegedly enlisted her celebrity friends Gaga and Elton for the gig. A source was quoted as saying the duo were “happy to do it together.”
However, according to Page Six those claims are false. A source close to Gaga said she will not be performing, and the event isn’t even on her schedule. Multiple insiders also rejected the claim that Elton John is involved.
A Billionaire Wedding — With or Without Superstars
Originally, it was rumored that the wedding would be held aboard Bezos’ $500 million mega-yacht, but recent reports suggest a more traditional venue in Venice, with festivities planned from June 24 to 26.

The guest list is expected to be star-studded nonetheless, with Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Ivanka Trump, and Katy Perry — who joined Sánchez on a Blue Origin spaceflight — reportedly set to attend.
Ahead of the ceremony, the couple was seen doing a wedding outfit fitting at Dolce & Gabbana in Milan.

Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55, got engaged in May 2023 after five years of dating. The Amazon founder proposed with a 20-carat diamond ring during a romantic getaway in the South of France.
