According to Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires List, Ellison’s total fortune now stands at $243 billion, surpassing Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, who dropped to fourth place with $226.8 billion, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who holds third place with $235.7 billion.

The surge marks the largest single-day gain among any billionaire in 2025 so far. Oracle’s strong performance in cloud computing and artificial intelligence appears to have fueled a renewed investor rally, catapulting Ellison further up the wealth rankings.

Current Top 5 Richest People in the World (Forbes Real-Time, June 2025):

  1. Elon Musk (Tesla/SpaceX) – $411.4 billion
  2. Larry Ellison (Oracle) – $243 billion
  3. Mark Zuckerberg (Meta) – $235.7 billion
  4. Jeff Bezos (Amazon) – $226.8 billion
  5. Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway) – $152.1 billion

Musk retains the top spot with a commanding lead, even after only a modest $191 million daily increase. His fortune continues to benefit from Tesla’s recovery and stabilizing investor sentiment following recent controversies.

Tech Titans Dominate the Rankings

The billionaire leaderboard continues to be dominated by U.S. tech figures. Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the Google co-founders, occupy the sixth and eighth positions respectively, while Jensen Huang of NVIDIA rounds out the top 10—highlighting the explosive growth of the semiconductor and AI industries.

Bernard Arnault, the only non-American in the top 10 and head of LVMH, represents the luxury fashion sector in seventh place with a net worth of $141.5 billion.

This latest reshuffling of wealth signals a renewed investor appetite for technology stocks, especially those linked to AI and enterprise software, where Oracle is increasingly seen as a powerful contender.

As Larry Ellison reclaims the spotlight, his rise reinforces how long-standing tech leaders continue to shape not only Silicon Valley—but the global financial landscape.
