The counter showed volatility in early trade, trading between ₹14.80 and ₹15.80, reflecting heightened sensitivity to profit booking or sector-specific pressure.
Despite this decline, several mid-cap power and infrastructure stocks held firm. Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (JPPOWER) rose 1.62% to ₹18.77, while Reliance Power Ltd continued its upbeat trajectory, gaining 1.77% to ₹68.40.

Other companies displayed mixed but generally positive movements: Vodafone Idea Ltd edged up 0.27% to ₹7.43; Yes Bank Ltd rose 0.44% to ₹20.34; GTL Infrastructure Ltd gained 0.55% to ₹1.82; and IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd (IRB) inched up 0.22% to ₹49.56.
Notable among small-caps, Infibeam Avenues Ltd rose 1.25% to ₹16.55, Aeroflex Industries Ltd surged 1.65% to ₹202.95, and Alok Industries Ltd gained 0.79% to ₹20.07. PC Jeweller Ltd added a modest 0.31% to ₹13.03.
The sharp drop in RattanIndia Power contrasts with the overall resilience in mid-cap infrastructure and small-cap names, signaling selective investor caution within the energy segment.
