LiveIndia Markets Update: Reliance Infrastructure Share Price Drops Despite Power Sector Momentum

RELINFRA slips 0.84% in early trade; Reliance Power and RattanIndia Power post strong gains, while Adani Power and Tata Power stay steady.

July-2, 2025: Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RELINFRA) saw a decline in early trading on July 2, 2025, with its stock falling by ₹3.40 or 0.84% to ₹403.00, down from the previous close of ₹406.40. The stock hovered between ₹400 and ₹410 during the morning session, reflecting subdued sentiment from investors.

In contrast, Reliance Power Ltd gained notable traction, rising 2.05% to ₹68.20. RattanIndia Power Ltd saw the sharpest jump among power stocks, climbing 6.01% to ₹14.85.

Meanwhile, sector giants Adani Power Ltd and Tata Power Company Ltd registered marginal gains, both up by 0.31%, trading at ₹593.25 and ₹407.80 respectively.

Despite RELINFRA’s slip, the overall power sector remained upbeat, driven by strong investor interest in emerging and mid-cap energy counters.
