January 2, 2025: As the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 approaches, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has announced an investment of ₹400 crore in electricity infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 power supply for an estimated 40 crore devotees.

Scheduled to run from January 13 to February 26, 2025, the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is the world’s largest spiritual gathering, where millions of devotees take a ritualistic dip at the Triveni Sangam, believing it purifies the soul.
With large-scale infrastructure upgrades and advanced security measures, the Uttar Pradesh government aims to ensure a safe, seamless, and spiritually fulfilling experience for all attendees.
