Manforce Condoms MD Calls Ranbir and Janhvi Kapoor as Ideal Choices for Condom Ads

Rajeev Juneja discusses brand strategies and explains why Kartik Aaryan replaced Sunny Leone as Manforce’s ambassador.

January 30, 2025: Rajeev Juneja, the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Mankind Pharma, recently shared insights into the company’s branding strategies during an appearance on Raj Shamani’s podcast. He revealed why Bollywood stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor would be ideal choices for promoting Manforce Condoms and explained the decision behind bringing Kartik Aaryan on board as the brand’s ambassador.

Kartik Aaryan’s Appeal:

In 2023, Kartik Aaryan became the face of Manforce Condoms, replacing Sunny Leone. Juneja explained that the move was aimed at engaging the male demographic. “Kartik Aaryan lene ka reason kya hai ki thoda sa male side ke andar we are supposed to go,” he said, emphasizing that Kartik’s relatability and widespread appeal make him an effective spokesperson for the brand. Additionally, the collaboration focuses on raising awareness about sexual health and consent among young men.

Why Janhvi and Ranbir Kapoor Are Ideal Choices:

When asked which Bollywood actors would be best suited for a condom campaign, Juneja named Janhvi Kapoor without hesitation. “She’s the best choice,” he stated, praising her suitability in representing a product that addresses sensitive topics while appealing to younger audiences. For a male counterpart, Juneja identified Ranbir Kapoor as the perfect fit, citing his versatility and ability to connect with a diverse audience.

Juneja also discussed Mankind Pharma’s other ambassadors. He highlighted Anushka Sharma as the ideal representative for Prega News pregnancy test kits, lauding her professionalism and disciplined nature. Juneja mentioned that Deepika Padukone would also be a strong choice but humorously added, “Maybe her asking is too much for us.”
