MS Dhoni and Sakshi Join Garnier Black Naturals to Create a New Symbol of ‘T’rust

“Just Like the Dhoni Review System, You Can Trust Garnier Black Naturals”

Mumbai, March 4: Garnier Black Naturals, a leading hair color brand in India, has announced an exciting new partnership with Indian cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni, for a campaign that redefines trust in hair coloring.

The campaign brings together two of India’s most trusted names—Dhoni and Garnier Black Naturals—to create a new symbol of ‘T’rust, drawing inspiration from the T-gesture famously associated with Dhoni’s Decision Review System (DRS) in cricket.

A Playful Campaign Built on Trust

The TV commercial (TVC) features the power couple in a fun and engaging banter. Dhoni teases Sakshi about the secret behind her gorgeous hair, only to be convinced when she confidently reveals her go-to hair color brand—Garnier Black Naturals.

As they share a lighthearted moment applying the color together, the ad ends with Dhoni’s iconic T-gesture, playfully connecting the Dhoni Review System (DRS) with Garnier Black Naturals’ promise of trust.

Speaking about the campaign, MS Dhoni expressed his excitement:
“Garnier has been a trusted brand for hair color for many years. Sakshi and I are happy to share our secret for natural-looking hair color. This campaign gave us the opportunity to appear onscreen together after a long time, and we hope our fans enjoy it as much as we did filming it.”

A Strategic Partnership for India’s Most Trusted Hair Color

Ajay Simha, General Manager, Garnier, emphasized the brand’s commitment to trust and quality:
“Garnier Black Naturals is India’s most trusted hair color brand. Who better to represent trust than MS Dhoni and Sakshi? Their chemistry, reliability, and credibility both on and off the field make them the perfect match for this campaign.”

Parikshit Bhattacharya, Chief Creative Officer at Publicis Groupe (BBH India), highlighted the uniqueness of the campaign:
“Garnier Black Naturals is the country’s most trusted hair color. Who better than the Dhonis to bat for the brand through their charming banter? The campaign, which includes memes, teasers, a digital video, and a broadcast spot, has already been loved by the internet.”

The 360-Degree Campaign and Its Impact

The multi-platform campaign launched at the end of February across television, digital media, and out-of-home advertising (OOH), ensuring maximum reach.

Fans have already started embracing the #ThalasTRUSTEDColor trend, inspired by Dhoni’s legacy of making the right calls—on and off the field.

Garnier Black Naturals continues to be an innovative, accessible, and sustainable beauty brand, aligning with Dhoni’s legacy of reliability, performance, and excellence.
