February 26, 2025: Stock Market Closed Today for Mahashivratri 2025
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will remain closed on February 26, 2025, in observance of Mahashivratri, one of India’s major festivals. Trading in the equity, equity derivatives, and SLB (securities lending and borrowing) segments will be suspended for the day.

However, the commodity markets will be closed during the morning session and will reopen for evening trade at 5:00 PM. Normal trading activities will resume on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
