April 18, 2025 | The Indian stock market is closed today, April 18, in observance of Good Friday, as per the BSE and NSE holiday schedule. All trading operations in equities, derivatives, and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments will remain suspended.

Normal trading will resume on Monday, April 21, following the extended weekend.

The Indian stock market ended the week on a bullish note:

Banking stocks led the rally, with the Nifty Bank index approaching its record high. Broader indices such as BSE Midcap and Smallcap posted smaller gains of 0.56% and 0.52%, respectively.
