Torrent Pharmaceuticals has announced a major takeover move, acquiring a 46.39% stake in JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals from KKR. The ₹25,689 crore deal is one of the biggest in India’s pharma sector, signaling Torrent’s aggressive expansion plans.

2. Tata Steel
