1. NTPC Ltd

The power giant is set to begin commercial operations of Unit-3 (660 MW) at its Barh Super Thermal Power Project in Bihar from July 1. This unit is part of the 3,300 MW Stage-I project. Other units across both Stage-I and Stage-II are already functional.

2. UltraTech Cement

UltraTech has commenced operations of a second grinding mill at its Maihar plant in Madhya Pradesh. The unit adds 1.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) capacity, boosting UltraTech’s domestic grey cement production to 186.86 mtpa and total global capacity to 192.26 mtpa.


3. PB Fintech (Policybazaar, Paisabazaar)

Founders Yashish Dahiya and Alok Bansal offloaded shares worth nearly ₹920 crore on June 26.

  • Dahiya sold 34 lakh shares (~₹619.3 crore)
  • Bansal sold 16.5 lakh shares (~₹300.5 crore)

The sizable promoter stake sale may impact stock sentiment in the near term.

4. Hitachi Energy India

The company has secured a major order from Power Grid Corporation of India to supply 30 single-phase transformers rated at 765 kV and 500 MVA. These will support India’s push for long-distance power transmission in the renewable and electrification sectors.


5. HCL Technologies

HCL has launched new AI-enabled services in partnership with Salesforce, leveraging the Salesforce Agentforce platform. The collaboration targets industries such as finance, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing, focusing on workflow automation and customer service transformation.


6. Power Mech Projects

The company has bagged Rs 159 crore worth of contracts from Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd. under the PM-KUSUM Component C2 scheme. The contracts involve setting up grid-connected solar power plants to electrify rural regions.


7. Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC)

IRFC has closed its trading window from July 1, ahead of its Q1 FY26 financial results. The window will reopen 48 hours after the board meeting, as per regulatory norms.
